Conflict management
How to respond to a complaint while protecting your interests and boundaries: a step-by-step approach to resolving conflict.
- resolving conflict in your favour
- preventing psychological manipulation and resisting it
- reducing tension and regulating your state in confrontation
About the practice tool
The practice tool presents five situations in which your task is to choose a suitable response to avoid or defuse conflict. Along the way, you receive guidance on managing your emotional state and reducing tension.
The strategies draw on the well-known Thomas–Kilmann model, exploring when each is appropriate in light of the preceding situation. We also examine conflict triggers: how behaviour can provoke conflict, why this happens and how to respond.
What you will gain
- resolving conflict in your favour
- preventing psychological manipulation and resisting it
