Antifragility in times of change
The world becomes more changeable each year. Regulating yourself, adapting strategies and learning from unexpected events are increasingly essential skills.
- what meta-skills are and how they support antifragility
- useful theory to apply in everyday and professional life
- awareness in decision-making under uncertainty
About the practice tool
Antifragility is the ability to emerge from crises with benefits for your development. Nassim Taleb calls sudden negative events “black swans”; developing antifragility helps us learn and grow from them.
The practice tool combines essential theory with a simulated life situation in which you aim to emerge successfully by using antifragility skills. You respond to a “black swan” by choosing between different decisions, receiving useful comments on each choice, whether correct or not.
What you will gain
- understand meta-skills and how to develop antifragility
- learn theory you can apply in everyday and professional life
- increase awareness when making decisions under uncertainty
What is included
An interactive practice tool lasting approximately 40 minutes: an introduction to antifragility based on Nassim Taleb's work, an exploration of the characteristics of a “black swan”, and a scenario in which you make decisions and receive feedback on each one. You can leave and resume where you stopped.
