About the training
We all manipulate, consciously or otherwise. We dislike being manipulated, yet often find it difficult to respond in the moment and keep repeating the same mistakes. Using our own examples, this training explores the forms, aims and causes of manipulation, and helps us recognise when it is happening and practise ways to respond.
This training can help you
- exploring manipulation: its forms, aims and causes;
- understanding when and why you manipulate, and whether you need to;
- understanding when you are being manipulated and why you allow it;
- learning to resist manipulation;
- making a conscious choice about where, and whether, manipulation is appropriate.
Who it is for
For anyone wanting greater confidence in communication and less susceptibility to pressure. We work as a group with real, recognisable situations.
