About the method
People have used hypnosis for over three thousand years. Its scientific history began in 1842, when James Braid described the distinctive state of mind that arises through focused attention and named it “hypnosis”. Today, this is about a calm, controlled psychological method rather than stage tricks.
As a clinical hypnotherapist, I use hypnosis sensitively and only with your consent, to reduce inner tension and access resources that remain less visible in ordinary awareness.
What it can help with
- anxiety, tension and difficulty relaxing;
- persistent fears and obsessive experiences;
- psychosomatic responses;
- finding inner support and resources.
How it works
You remain aware and safe: hypnosis does not take away your will or control. We work at your pace and agree the depth of the work together.
